Our Story

Formed by Experience,Driven by Family

Before making New Zealand our home, we, Robert and Holly, spent years working at Alibaba, learning the ins and outs of global e-commerce and supply chains. After establishing our own e-commerce business and running it successfully for over a decade, we relocated to beautiful New Zealand and founded Global E-Commerce Partner Limited in 2015.

As parents of three busy children, we know firsthand how chaotic—and expensive—family life can be. Like many Kiwi families, we quickly noticed how incredibly high the cost of living is here. Often, New Zealanders pay premium prices for outdated products that the rest of the world has already moved past.

Leveraging our years of industry experience, we initially began importing high-quality products directly from manufacturing hubs just for our own household use. However, as the economic downturn tightened its grip over recent years, we saw our friends and neighbours facing real, tangible financial pressure. We felt we had to do something more.

That is how SpaceUp was born.

SpaceUp isn’t just a business to us; it’s a family mission. Our goal is simple: to streamline the supply chain and bypass unnecessary markups to deliver exceptionally high-quality products at honest, affordable prices.

Looking ahead, we are expanding SpaceUp to include a curated selection of parallel-imported brand-name products. We believe New Zealanders deserve access to the world’s best goods without paying the world’s highest prices.
